Even though Alison and Aaron both attended University of Kentucky they didn't meet until after college. She was just finishing her masters and he had been out of school for a couple years. It's always amazing to me how sometimes the seemingly anonymous people we pass on the street or stand in line with at a coffee shop might one day become the most important people in our lives.
After finding what he thought was the perfect engagement ring, Aaron double checked with one of Alison's best friends. The feedback was not great and he decided it would be best to get Alison in on the decision. After visiting many jewelry stores, they ended up collaborating on the perfect ring — he selected the diamond and she chose the setting. But the when and where of the proposal was still a surprise.
On a Monday Aaron asked Alison to go stargazing, but she was too tired. Then he asked the next night, and again, she was too tired. This went on for nearly the entire week. When Friday came around she finally agreed to go and under the twinkling light of the stars, Aaron got down on one knee and she said yes.
Congratulations Alison & Aaron! I had so much fun photographing your engagement session.
