I've known Emily since she was in middle school. One of my best friends is her older sister. We got to know each other as adults a few years ago when we were both bridesmaids in her sister's wedding. I was so flattered that she asked me to be her photographer when it was her turn to walk down the aisle.
I always find it so interesting to see how people hang their wedding dress before I arrive. This set up couldn't have been more perfect. I also, love the simple elegance of Emily's dress paired with the sparkle of her jewelry and shoes.
Emily and Sean are perfect for each other. They are both full of laughter, playfulness, and appreciation for the silly moments in life. He is the man who stole her poker chips at casino night and then her heart. She is the woman that was a good luck charm for him during the Cardinal's victory march towards the 2013 NCAA championship and now his partner in life.
After photographing wedding party portraits around downtown Louisville, we headed to the The Pointe for their reception. Their wedding details were elegant and when paired with their casually playful attitudes, made for one great party. It was clear that everyone at the wedding had an incredible time celebrating with Emily & Sean.
Congratulations Emily & Sean! I really enjoyed being a part of your special day. Here's many well wishes to you both!
A special thanks to all the incredible vendors who made this day possible:
