Katie & Clay are two of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. I was so honored to be a part of their wedding... and what an incredible wedding it was. I'd been looking forward to their big day ever since I learned that their plans included the Bodley-Bullock House, the Hunt-Morgan House, AND Evans Orchard.
The bridal party got ready at the Bodley-Bullock House, while the gents were getting ready at the Hunt-Morgan House. It was the perfect set up for a first look in Gratz Park.
Katie & Clay actually went to high school together but didn't meet until college. For a few years they would hear about each other from mutual friends but were never in the right place at the right time to meet. It's serendipitous how the universe kept them from each other until just the right moment.
The wedding ceremony and reception was out at Evans Orchard. It really is an incredible venue, it has that Kentucky barn charm with the elegance of an orchard surrounding it.
The sunset photos we took in the orchard were just so incredible. Katie & Clay were both so gorgeous, the lighting was incredible, and the setting was perfect.
Congratulations Katie & Clay! Thanks for choosing me to photograph your wedding!
I also want to thank all the incredible vendors that made this day possible:
