Lee & Steven's wedding festivities started at the Hilton in downtown Lexington before heading over to the Apiary for the ceremony and reception. When I was gathering all the details from Lee, I was struck with how perfect everything was, from her custom green velvet heels to the intricate head piece she had made from an Etsy artisan.
Lee & Steven went to High School together but they never really hung out during those years. However, Lee must have left an impression on Steven because years later he found himself shooting her a facebook message. It's amazing how such a small thing can lead to something so much bigger, what might seem like a simple message can lead to connecting with the love of your life.
Lee & Steven really are great together. Steven instantly relaxes when he's in Lee's presence. It's amazing how they make each other shine.
The Apiary is a beautiful venue and the food is simply phenomenal. When I talked with Lee & Steven about their wedding they kept emphasizing that they just wanted people to have fun, eat good food, and enjoy the party. I think this wedding achieved all of those goals.
Congratulations Lee & Steven! Thanks for including me in your wedding!
